Overview
Politik & Kultur is the newspaper of the German Cultural Council (Deutscher Kulturrat). Published six times a year since 2002, it covers current cultural policy and explores one focus topic in depth in every issue. politikkultur.de is its online edition.
I designed the website, based on the existing design of the printed newspaper, which I did not create. I translated it into a digital experience: from the home page, articles and sections to topics, the issue archive, author pages, search and subscription.
Every issue of the newspaper has its own color. With each new edition, the online version takes on this color, so the whole website changes along with the paper.
The header shows my original designs; the laptops below show the live website with the current issue.
